ObserveIT Remote Architecture

This diagram shows the ObserveIT remote architecture using Mutual TLS (mTLS) authentication. This is the suggested architecture for remote endpoints, useful in work from home environments. ObserveIT Agents are installed on the remote endpoints and are connected to the Application servers.

For more information about requesting and configuring mTLS, see mTLS Authentication Certification.

This architecture examples includes:

  1. Remote endpoints with ObserveIT Agents connect using VPN or WWW using HTTPs
  2. External network load balancer is located behind the firewall
  3. mTLS authentication is used between remote endpoints and the external network load balancer
