Screen capture data takes up more storage space than metadata and is configured separately.

File system storing production ObserveIT screen capture data (ObserveIT Warm Storage) is formatted with 64 KB blocks.

File system storing archive ObserveIT screen capture data (ObserveIT Cold Storage) is formatted with 64 KB blocks.

ObserveIT Warm Storage is shared over SMB.

ObserveIT Cold Storage is shared over SMB.
SMB v3 is supported.

ObserveIT Service Account has Modify access to the Warm Storage folder

ObserveIT Service Account has Modify access to the Cold Storage folder.

File and Object Access auditing is disabled on disks storing ObserveIT screen capture data.

Indexing is disabled on disks storing ObserveIT screen capture data.

Disks storing ObserveIT screen capture data are excluded from antivirus scans.
