Deleting Lists

You can delete Lists if they are not currently being used by an alert rule. Private lists can only be deleted by the Console user who created and modified the List to be Private.

To delete a list

1. In the Manage Lists page (Configuration > Alerts > Lists), click the Delete icon that appears when you hover over the relevant List in the table. For example:

   

   If the List is currently being used by at least one alert rule, you will receive a message displaying the names of the rule(s) that are being used, and you will be unable to delete the List.

2. If the List is not being used by an alert rule, a confirmation dialog box opens.

3. Click the Delete button to confirm the deletion.

   The List will be deleted and the Manage Lists table will be refreshed.
