Permitting Users to Bypass Anonymization

ITM On-Prem (ObserveIT) allows certain ITM On-Prem Web Console users to view personally identifiable information for all recorded users, without the need to specifically expose any anonymized users. For example, the Chief of Information Security (CISO) or investigators with specific permissions can bypass anonymization in order to view all personal data about users.

To define specific Web Console users who can view all user personal data not anonymized

  1. Navigate to the section Web Console Users who can Bypass Anonymization in the Anonymization page (Configuration > Security & PrivacySecurity & Privacy > Anonymization).

  2. From the Domain list, select the Active Directory domain to which the user belongs, enter the user's Login name , and click Add.

  3. Repeat the above step for each user that you want to add.

  4. To remove a user from the list, select the relevant check box, and click Remove.

  5. Click Save to save your settings.
