Deleting an Exposure Request

ITM On-Prem (ObserveIT) allows the Privacy Officer to delete exposure requests that have expired or are no longer relevant.

For more information about user exposure requests, see Managing Requests for User Exposure.

You cannot delete requests that are inApproved status.

To delete exposure requests

  1. In the User Exposure Request table, select the request(s) you want to delete.

  2. Click the Delete Selected Requests button.

    A confirmation dialog box opens.

  3. Click Delete Requests to confirm the deletion.

The selected request(s) will no longer appear in the User Exposure Request table.

When deleting aPending request, an email notification (if configured in the Anonymization tab) will be sent to the user informing them about the deletion.
