Upgrading Mac Agents

The procedure for upgrading the Mac Agent is the same as for installing, except for the name of the package. The installer checks if a version is already installed; if so, it will uninstall the current version and install the new one. For details, see Mac Agent Deployment Overview.

Note the following:

• Upgrading the Agents is the last step you perform when upgrading ObserveIT.

• Upgrading the components does not require a reboot of the servers, but will result in a temporary loss of recording during the upgrading process.

• All the upgraded ITM On-Prem (ObserveIT) Agents (or Servers) will show their new upgraded version number on the Configuration > Servers tab of the Web Console.
